Week 3 assignment

For week 3 we are dealing with YouTube. I actually don't use YouTube very often in my personal time, I try to go on there and am overwhelmed with the endless amount of viewing material. I might however start using it at the library-

I found a whole series of videos on how to fix bindings, cover books, and all sorts of pertinent information to me, since I'm the primary processor. I don't know if the public will have any use or interest for these videos, but I know I will.  Here is the link to my video

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wzhCgiRi2YU

It shows you how to reattach a book to its binding when it completely blows out, which has happened to our books before. I usually just put an excessive amount of glue on it and hope for the best, but now I know what I'm actually supposed to do.

  1. Thanks for the link for book binding repairs. I passed it on to my terrific assistant who takes care of all those things. It was very helpful for her.

  2. This is great. I didn't think about looking on Youtube for book repair videos. This will come in handy for me to show my aides how to do it. Maybe they can help me with the endless pile of repairs. Thanks Dan!

  3. You really can find a video on everything. I didn't even know how to repair a book. Will come in handy for my Girl Scout trropas well for their book maker badge.
